Day 1: Pick up the participants at the airport of Bishkek. Transfer to Lake Issyk-Kul on the same day. The route runs along the river Schu through a picturesque canyon. Issyk-Kul is the largest lake in the country and one of the deepest lakes in the world. It is rightly called the "Pearl of Kyrgyzstan". Overnight in tents on the rough beach on the shore of the lake;

Day 2-3: The route passes around the eastern coast from Issyk-Kul to the town of Karakol (Przewalsk). Excursion to the Przewalsk Museum. The lunch in the cafe is the perfect way to taste the national cuisine. Move along the southern coast to the Ortotoktoi Reservoir and further into the valley of the Kekemeren River;

Day 4: The route goes to the south. Susamyr township/settlement: the mountain route runs through a picturesque valley and comes to the highway Bishkek - Osh near the Ala-Bel Pass (3180m). It\\\'s a great opportunity to taste kumys (mare\\\'s milk) and natural mountain honey. Overnight on the Toktogul town in guesthouse;

Day 5-6: The picturesque Orto-Toktoy reservoir and climb to the pass of the same name. The city of Osh: visiingt the Osh fair. Driving to the Alai Valley. Overnight stay with the Kyrgyz people in a guest house in the village of Sarytasch. Beautiful view of the Zaalaiskiy Range, you can even see the highest peak in the area - Pik Lenin (7134 m);

Day 7: We begin the ascent to the Pamir. Crossing the border at the pass Kyzyl-Art (4280 m), entering Tajikistan. The scale of the Pamir is amazing, the huge Karakul hollow is filled with ice, in the summer the ice melts and it will be the largest natural reservoir of the country - Karakul Lake. The Akbaytal Pass (4655 m) is the highest point of our route, the highest automobile pass in the entire post-Soviet area. Overnight in a guest house in the village of Murghab;

Day 8: The key moment of the expedition: moving along the famous river Pyanj to the \\\"Vakhan passageway\\\". Dizzy serpentines and abysses - the road passes along a high river terrace. In clear weather there is a view of the snow-capped peaks of the Hindukush, the seven-thousand-strongest region of Afghanistan. Overnight in the village on the bank of the Pyanj River;

Day 9: Moving along a picturesque mountain road. Visiting the famous hot springs - Bibi-Fatima. Relax. In the afternoon – the excursion to the ancient fortress. Dinner. Free time. Overnight in the guesthouse;

Day 10: Moving to Khorog. On the way – visiting the Ishkashim village. Lunch. In the evening we arrive in Khorog (the centre of GBAO). Dinner, walks, rest. Overnight in the hotel;

Day 11: Continue moving on the Pamir highway. The picturesque views of the valley Pyanj around. The opposite shore is Afghanistan. In the afternoon we arrive in Kalai-Humb. Hotel accommodation. Dinner. Free time;

Day 12: Breakfast. We say goodbye to Panj and leave GBAO. Several long passes and in the second half of the day we arrive to Kulyab. Dinner. Overnight in the hotel;

Day 13: Breakfast. Moving along the beautiful asphalt to Dushanbe - the capital of Tajikistan. On the way we see beautiful views of the Nurek reservoir. Hotel accommodation. In the afternoon - rest, walks, photos, dinner;

Day 14: Breakfast. Transfer to the International Airport in Dushanbe.

Weather

Summer - autumn is the best time to travel to the interior regions of Central and Middle Asia, it is sunny and dry. Golden autumn in the full sense of the word. Daytime temperatures are +20 .. + 22 ° C, at night +7 .. + 10 ° C. At altitudes of over 4000 meters it is possible to snow, a temperature drop of 0 -5C, a strong gusty wind is possible.

Requirements

The expedition takes place under the guidance of experienced travelers. The participants take the passenger seats in the expedition minivan. Help with the daily community work is mandatory, the food is prepared together with the whole team on the campfire or on the gas stove. It is recommended to visit the doctor before the expedition. The travel mode does not allow much comfort.

Note

Considering the long length of dirt roads and off-road sections, the distance from the public roads, in the schedule of the expedition changes and actions on the situation are possible. The head daily determines the day\\\'s runs and the route based on the weather conditions and terrain features.
