Day 1 - 2: Transfer Gorno-Altaisk - Tashanta. On expedition SUVs our group begins a slow climb to the mountains. Ahead of hundreds of kilometers of the famous Chuiskiy tract, we move towards the border with Mongolia. Overnight in tents on the shore of the clean mountain river – the Yaloman. Excursion to the Katunsky terraces. Chuikiy and Kurai basins - stunning views of the ice-covered ranges - this is the Severo-Chui Altai ridge. The second night in tents at an altitude of 2000 meters in the Chuiskaya steppe;

Day 3: Crossing the Russian-Mongolian border. Mongolia is a country of steppes, deserts and a boundless blue sky. Only here you can understand what real freedom is. Asphalt ends and dusty steppe roads begin. A short stop in a small Mongolian village - Tsaagan-Nuur: to buy some products. A few hours later the road breaks out from a narrow dry canyon and we see Lake Achit Nuur. We stop in picturesque rocky outcrops. There is no water around. At sunset the perfect time for photography;

Day 4: Transfer Lake Achit-Nur - Ureg-Nuur. But before - a short walk along the rocky outcrops; picturesque forms of relief - the result of many years work of wind and sun. Moving along the lake Achit-Nuur, the most part of the coast is a marshy swampy area covered with sedges. In one of the wells we replenish the fresh water supply. Stop for lunch in a small village, there is an opportunity to taste traditional Mongolian dishes. The cuisine of nomads in Central Asia is not distinguished by its variety: fresh, ecologically clean meat, flavourless tortillas and tea with milk. A short drive and climb to the pass, there is a beautiful view of Lake Uregh-Nuur. Descent from the pass, installation of a tent camp on the shore of the lake in a picturesque place;

Day 5: Uregy-Nuur - Lake Ubsu-Nuur. Today we should go down into the basin of large lakes of Mongolia. The main course is to the north-east, to the largest reservoir of Mongolia, to lake Ubsu-nur through the Ulan-Daba mountain pass. Mountain roads end, before us opens one of the world's largest intermountain hollows. In the city of Ulangom, the capital of the Ubsunur aimag: lunch in a cafe, we purchase products and replenish diesel fuel. The huge lake of Ubsu-nur in many ways resembles the sea: the sound of the surf, gulls, sandy beaches, even the water is salty ... and no one around. Bathing. Overnight in tents;

Day 6: Lake Ubsu-nur - Hargas-Nur. In the morning we walk along the lake shore. Packing equipment in cars. Part of the route passes along fine asphalt - this is a rare phenomenon for Mongolia. In the village of Naranbulak we replenish fresh water supplies. The steppe is over, the mountain road starts again, now to Lake Hargas-Nur. This lake is covered with legends about an unknown monster inhabiting its waters. We will not check, but its beautiful shores in combination with the lake's surface in the photo will be taken off. We move from one village to another, located from each other on seemingly unthinkable distances. Traditionally, overnight in tents;

Day 7-8: Lake Hargas-Nur - Durgun-Nuur. For a few days we say goodbye to the "lakeside" landscapes, we move to the south to the huge barkhans of the sandy massif of the Mongol-Els Desert, adjoining to the lake Durgun. Here you can feel the breath of the Gobi Desert. Durgun-nur and Khar-Nur are in fact one reservoir, separated by a narrow strait. They were divided conditionally, because the southern part of the lake is fresh, and the northern part is salty. Part of the route passes through practically waterless terrain, only dry channels - a reminder of spontaneous floods that occur very rarely. Setting up a camp on the shore of Lake Durgun-Nuur;

Day 9-10: Lake Durgun-Nuur - Lake Tolbo. In the morning (whiles not hot yet) you can walk to the barhans of the Mongol-Els. A surprising combination: a huge sandy massif, a blue surface of the lake and mountains with snow caps on the horizon. Moving to Hovd (Kobdo). It is the largest city in Western Mongolia. We replenish supplies of provisions and fuel. All the largest lakes were left behind. Passed the steppes, deserts and mountains of Mongolia, but that's not all. There is a long and no less fascinating road back to Russia. Lake Tolbo is a traditional place for travelers who go to Mongolia. Overnight in tents;

Day 11-12: Lake Tolbo - Gorno-Altaisk. Early rise, breakfast. We cross the State border and again we are driving along the already familiar Chuysky tract. We will spend the night in one of the picturesque places in the Kuray steppe - on the shore of a small stream. In the evening - a walk to the summit peak, here you can see a beautiful view of the steppe and the mountain. Moving along the Chuysky tract, lunch in a cafe, stops for photography and recreation. Overnight in summer houses on the territory of a cozy camp. Dinner, rest, banya;

Day 13: Transfer to the airport.
